• Our wicks are top quality lead and zinc free. 100% cotton and are pre-waxed for easy lighting. We take care to trim each of our wicks.
• Our beeswax suppliers use crop rotation as an environmentally friendly approach to eliminate pesticide use.
• Honey Candles® are made with premium quality cappings wax, the best grade of pure beeswax.
• Our pure beeswax comes from the Peace Region of Northern Alberta, Canada, an area where the growing season is short and the days are long. The wax from this region is brighter and cleaner because the bees have less time to work with the wax.
• Our colored candles are colored with all-natural non-toxic Enviro-dyes
• Our beeswax candles are a rich yellow amber color. Lower grade beeswax candles lack this richness and intensity. Poor quality wax has a dirty, muddy appearance.
• Our beeswax candles are pleasant to touch and are smooth and rich. Lower quality candles feel hard like plastic, which may indicate a hardener has been added.
• Honey Candles® are hand-poured. We do not over-dip to cover cheaper wax underneath.
